Project 4 - "Online Game Shop"
AIM OF THE WEBSITE:
The online game shop provides the user with a very friendly GUI interface. Users can buy new as well as pre-owned games, accessories & hardware andcan sell their games. The shop will provide the users with all the latesthappening in the gaming world like new releases of games, hardware & accessories. Users have to register them on the website and then can choosethe product they want to buy from the shop. After choosing the product, itgets added to their ‘shopping cart’. Checkout option will appear to maketransaction & user can pay only by cash on delivery method.The current scenario, as it stands, is that the gaming industry, specifically forbuying and selling of game related derivatives, is in its budding stages inIndia. An online shopping website specifically dedicated towards sale ofgame related derivatives tries to fill the void in the state of the gamingindustry today. Also, games happen to be a very volatile product. Asinvestment for entertainment is extremely high when it comes to games, oneprefers to always let go off his old stock of games in order to generatecapital for purchasing new games. Often times he is left with the trouble offinding potential customers. The giving application tries to ease off thiswork, by giving the users an opportunity to sell his tangible gaming assets,be it in the form of games, or in the form of game related derivatives.The given application also tries to reduce working personnel in theaforementioned gaming shop, by introducing an online system, therebyreducing the shop owner’s investment. Also, the online system is easier tomaintain, and that major plus point about this system is that it can be online24x7 and that it does not require dedicated space (in the form of physicalspace such as shops, storage warehouses etc.)

Basically the purpose for development of this website is to make a user friendly
shopping experience.

- A login module for registered users to login and start shopping.
- A module that provides registered users the option to sell their gaming related derivatives.
- A ‘shopping cart’ like feature that allows the user to add items from the
- website to his ‘cart’ and then when content with his purchases, the user can then ‘checkout’.
- The owner of the shop can add new stocks in the form of gaming related
- products to the online e-shop, and remove old or unwanted stock easily.
- Providing all the latest happening in the gaming world.
